Newcomer / Intro Where can I find my API Key for inara.cz?

Sorry if there is already a location with this information, but I've searched everywhere I could think of with no luck. We are able to link our accounts with inara.cz for some nifty tools for use with Elite correct? It's asking me for an API Key to link, but I have no idea where to find that. Can someone explain for me?

The only launcher I have is the Elite Launcher (unless you mean the same thing), but I don't see anything like a drop down menu.

Well I tired to reply twice with a screenshot of my launcher. I mean, it's the Elite Dangerous Horizons launcher, I wouldn't call it a "Frontier" Launcher, but maybe it's the same thing? However I see no drop down menus of any kind.

Your image shows the launcher I meant and "My Account" or "Options" are what you want, all items in that line are clickable but all the others take you elsewhere. Still not at my computer to verify this but fairly sure one of those two has what you want.

Sorry, where would you enter the API key in Inara?

Specifically, what and where is asking you for an API key?

Find and edit AppConfig.xml in your game folder and add VerboseLogging="1" to the Network section.

For example:

<Network
Port="0"
upnpenabled="1"
LogFile="netLog"
DatestampLog="1"
RelayViaServer="1"
VerboseLogging="1"
>

(Update your AppConfig.xml after each game update/patch, as it overrides this setting.)

If you're logged into your inara account, it'll be under settings, and then scroll all the way down. Someone is twitch chat told me yesterday (after I made this thread) that this feature may not be available yet, which would explain the "nothing to see here yet :)" notation in the screenshot. However, I was under the impression people had been using it for a long time already, which is why I was asking.

There is no dialog on Inara to enter some FDs/game API key. There is just a currently disabled option in the Settings which will be used to generate an Inara API key for use in other apps in the future. :)
