I wanted to do a Federation rank progression mission, but as usual trying to use the filters in the galaxy map to find any trade routes is useless. No routes will display, not for metals, food, nothing.
Other than just flying from system to system and docking at the major stations how can I find where to buy some non-lethal weapons? This is exactly why I have never taken this mission before, it is to much of a crap shoot and takes to much time just hoping I will stumble into a station that actually sells them. In the whole time I have been playing ED (Sept 2014) I think that I have seen no more than two stations that actually had them for sell and I did not write down the names of the stations back then.
