You may need to do Mechanic research for guest shops and stuff. That would by my guess unless the facility is not in the beta like @Silhouette said.
Mechanic research kind of sucks. But I kinda got it working by hiring a Mechanic and removed all their work tasks but research and placed them in a workzone with only a workshop, research center, and staff building. Mechanic research takes forever though in comparison to animal research, but its better now that they actually STAY on research when they take breaks.

It's not in the beta implemented. I have researched everything already. In the full release has to be more than those you can research already in the beta, cause all the shops are just 1:1 from Planet Coaster which would be kind of boring. Hope in the full release will be more newer shops and things to sell.
Yeah its a carry over from PC. They also have the nausea meter with guests. Apparently animals can make guests puke or maybe they get car sickness if they ride in the back of the jeep? 
Funny is also you can research the Tikichiki Food Shop but you can not build one. 
Ah come on, that is clearly transparent aluminum. What worked for the crew of the Enterprise with the whales also works in Planet Zoo for Hippos
Is this a screenshot of dry cracked mud at the bottom of a tank of water? I think they need to work on their textures! I also feel like they have still failed implementation of volumetric water. To me it still looks like PlanCo with the water forming an animated ceiling and underneath the surface it just looks like air. If they have figured out how to make animal skins look wet when they get out of the water we should be able to see some visual indicator when they actually are in water. I actually prefer the water dirty because then it at least looks like they are underwater (reduced light, etc.)

One more incidence, where reality met science fiction (especially the early Star Trek).
In this case, the incidence it not so incidental, though. The Star Trek authors actually were in contact with the inventors of said transparent aluminium and used the so far not officially revealed knowledg in their scripts. (I've visited a lecture on this and related topics, held by the awesome Hubert Zitt.)

Does does the glass crack and spill water or not?
The glass starts cracking regardless if the animals every get too close, it just degrades quality over time even if nothing touches it.
I assume with water pressure and using the exact same glass on land and on water, the glass will eventually give in and start spilling. Making guests slip and fall, requiring a first aid facility.
