So I unlocked the Guardian Shield Booster, spent the material at the tech broker (together with that guardian fighter). While I found the fighter real quick in the equipment menu, I'm looking desperately for the Shield Booster, visited two stations which should sell them (checked Inara). Perhaps I had jus bad luck, but.. where do I find these? They aren't the Bi Shields, are they? I think they must have that guardian icon like the Frame Shift Booster, right?

They are sold in the same stations with a Guardian Tech Broker, generally, and they can be found under Hull Reinforcements in the outfitting shop.
Smalll addition: they are called Guardian Shield Reinforcement Package, not Booster, so perhaps you were looking among the utility slots, while they are optional internals.

Check under Hull Reinforcements anywhere with a Guardian tech Broker. Yeah I know - makes little sense.
If it's any consolation, I had to ask the exact same question here a while back. It's not obvious...
