Ships Where can I get a super power plant?

The one that keeps going at 0%. Fighting in a CZ to get combat bonds and for the bigger stuff target the PP to speed up the kill rather than take the hull to 0. A couple of times fighting a Conda and a Python got the PP down to 0% and they are still going, manoeuvring and firing. Took another minute or more to make them pop. Module damage seems to do nothing to these ships.

This is actually a very common bug that's been around for years.
My friends and I encountered this all the time back when we used to stack wing assassination missions before they got nerfed and were actually fun 😥

So what does the 0% actually represent? Am I wasting my time targeting the PP?
The other thing is, if the power plant is at 0%, every time you hit it, there is a chance it goes critical and blows up the ship. It's not guaranteed, but if you have a build that's good at module sniping, it will reliably save you some time.

It represents a level of damage where it is only 50% functional. No, because you limit your target's options on 50% power. Some modules do turn off, depends what they are. And as stated above at 0% every hit has a chance of crit and instant death.

NPCs ignore module damage to a ridiculous extent. They are always happy to wake out any time with a FSD integrity of 2%. So target FSD first, bring it down to 0 and only then focus the PP.

Exactly. The first thing I do when I see a Chieftain of Challenger in a CZ is taking out thrusters and power planet next. Ship usually explodes at 50-60% of hull value. Normally they are very tough if you aim for the hull. Also ships like Python or Anaconda are much more resistant and their power plants/ thrusters are more difficult to damage.

As others have said 0% integrity doesn't mean 0% power output. It's actually 50%. And with 50% you can power thrusters, weapons, fsd, and some defenses easily in an un- or lightly engineered ship. If you watch them there shields never come back and for some even the fsd stops working too. The magic is in the power priorities.
