I found a bounty in my Transactions from some previous kill. How do I find out where I can claim it?

It says... “Collect your bonus from an authority contact. You will find them at any station.” ... but I’ve been to several stations and none of the authority contacts allow me to claim the bounty.

The title of the bounty is simply “8,735 CR BOUNTY BY THE FATHERHOOD”

Tedious & Complicated way: check the Galmap until you find a system where The Fatherhood resides.
Less tedious way: go to Inara or EDDB and look for systmes with that faction
normal way: go to a station with an Interstellar Factor (IF, see above on how to find them) and let them keep 25% of it
lazy way: for that kind of spare change, I don't even switch on my ship's engines. That doesn't even cover integrity and fuel. Just keep on collecting them, and whenever you happen to find yourself in a station with an IF, cash the lot in.

Ok, I must remember Inara for future reference - I hadn’t noticed their “Minor Factions” search before. The system the bounty originated in was “Warnates” (although The Fatherhood also exist in about 20 other systems).

It’s a bit silly the game itself doesn’t give you the means to find this out.

I'd go the insterllar factor route. It's easier than faffing around trying to find the right system for the faction - and then discover it's two billion jumps away. Just be aware that a lot of IF's are on outposts and you can't land a large ship on one. Use the tools given above for ease. Good luck!
