Where do I file a bug report about the bug tracking system?

@FDEV / mods: where do I file a bug report about your bug tracking software? I discovered that sometimes when you start to submit a bug report via the "submit report" button, the platform information gets dropped, I do not get asked to fill it out, and I end up submitting a report that shows up as "invalid" when I try to view it again (example: https://issues.frontierstore.net/issue-detail/25616). This issue has affected a good 12 bugs I've filed as part of the Odyssey alpha.

Also, what do I do about the 12 borked bug reports? Can they be fixed by just adding in the PC platform information or do I need to re-submit them all?

You can't report bugs about the bug tracker. If we could "replace this heap of junk with one of the many open source bug trackers which actually work" would have been the top voted bug for years. I can only conclude that the actual purpose of it is to minimise bug reports by making the experience so hostile that most people give up, and so hardly any bugs ever reach the ridiculous "10 confirmations" threshold.

And yes, if you do figure out how to sort out the platform information, you'll need to resubmit all 12 bugs: before you do, if you're still inclined to, it might be worth doing a thorough search on every related keyword you can think of to see if anyone else has managed to do that first, and then you can just add a confirmation to it and both save yourself some time and avoid splitting the reports. (Split reports are actually worse than you just not bothering to report at all, because of how the "confirmation" process works)

Your best bet may be to pretend that it's actually an intended feature of the game which you don't like and post about it in the feedback thread.
"While I understand that occasional hull pressure breaches are realistic, some more warning before we get sucked out of the station into nearby space and have to drift an hour before dying might improve things"
"Having mission material rewards permanently marked as 'mission' in the inventory is probably good for people who like to keep a history of what they've done, but it just clutters up the menu for me - could we have an option to de-mission them?"
etc.

I'm afraid the mods have nothing to do with the issue tracker. We're just volunteers (and players).

FD are aware of some of the issues with the issue tracker, and have said they're going to improve it. Meantime, try a different browser and see if that helps - it sometimes work on one browser better than others in my experience.

You could also raise any issues regarding the tracker with support directly via: https://support.frontier.co.uk/kb/ (which was linked from a previous issue raised regarding the tracker itself).
