Where do I find: Food Cartridges ?

I am neither much in fighting/bounty hunting nor in trading. I basically made all my money in Beta with hauling missions and exploring.

So it happened that I now leisurely accepted a mission to buy Food Cartridges.
I looked on dozens of stations in several agriculture systems... and wasn't able to find them.

Are they not an agriculture item? Or do I have to look for them way further away?

Cartridges are a processed item, so I normally see them in industrialized systems. They're pretty common in systems that aren't agriculture. Agriculture is good for the raw stuff (animal meat, coffee, fish, grain and tea).

Try using the commodity tool within the galaxy map. It's possible to narrow trade lines to a single commodity.
