Newcomer / Intro Where does everyone relax?

Hi guys. :D

Just a quick question..

The only similar game I've played to this was Freelancer and there was one place where everyone stayed to hang out, is there such a place on Elite yet?

Not really, but there are usually some people in Lave or Sol (but you need a permit for Sol). At the moment by far the best way to enjoy the social side of this game is to join a group. Take a look at the Groups thread for more info and to find a group that runs a Teamspeak server.

the single most visited system is probably Sol. but you need to get a kermit to enter.
its more of a tourist attraction than anything else.

sorry i meant permit.
probably not a good idea to bring a kermit, even whit a permit.
i believe most system police considers muppets to be kill on sight

Big plans are made for this game, including walking through station. Maybe they will introduce some type of Space Cantina (SW type like) and there we can cheers and watch Spaceballs (soccer) ...oh, and yea, everyone should mind their own business, if not, step out for a PvP :)

Considering the lack of multiplayer features this is a pointless endeavour anyway. There is no group chat.
