Where does the 25% go?

My Fleet Carrier has a Redemption Office, and it takes a 25% cut of any bounties etc. paid out.

So where does that money go? Does it go into the carrier's bank account? If so, that would mean that even though I redeem my bounties at my Carrier, I would still get the full amount, is that right (even though 25% of it goes to the Carrier rather than my 'personal' account)?

Staff, running costs and rainy days.
People need to be paid (there's no Star Trek utopia here)(why can't they organise the resupply of tritium?), things break down, and you must expect the unexpected.

Does any actually go to the Carrier as in get added to the Carrier's account balance? I assumed such things (like the services surcharge to other commanders) went into the Carrier's account. However, a while back now, we tested this. A friend was operating out of my Carrier for a while, regularly returning for repair and resupply. I had the rate set to 5% but despite him likely spending hundreds of Thousands at my Carrier in repairs, ammo and limpet resupply etc. the Carrier's account did not increase by even one credit. After seeing this, I did wonder what exactly can earn a Carrier money. Module and Ship sales perhaps, but certainly not regular maintenance it seems. Not really thought about it since, until seeing this post. I have debated turning on or installing other services for when we're a bit further out in the black for extended periods. While I don't really care too much about the credits these days, it'd be nice to get an understanding of things.

I'd like to know what should go into the Carrier's account balance of the various transactions that can take place between Commander and Carrier.

Well the thin air is nominally the organisations running those operations for example Universal Cartographics.

This is my experience also... I've been ferrying people around on tours for over a year now... They've made billions of credits while we've been out there, by selling their data to my carrier. My carrier balance hasn't been influenced by them at all, as far as I can see.

Would be nice if we could actually get a detailed breakdown of all transactions on our fleet carriers to compare it.

I would love it if a portion of that missing 12.5% went to pay those freeloaders permanently sitting at the bar, or snoozing in the hallway, so that they do something useful, like moving tritium from the main storage to the tritium depot!

I would space those lazy SOBs if I could. If I have to manage it all myself, what's the point in paying them?
