Just curious..been awfully quiet about the progression of mining lately hav i missed the news?..mining in Beta?

I have been wondering about players who like to collect resources too. We have trading and fighting. So far no "healer" or "manufacturing/resource gathering" type roles though.

We have to wait and see. First Beta build is doubtful in my opinion, but still over 3 weeks to go and maybe new Newsletters will reveal details.

Maybe a build after first Beta? Hopefuly. For me, it is a feature i wait most.

I'm guessing mining and the fuel mechanic will come at the same time.

When fuel comes along we also need to be able to scoop/mine it in case we get stranded so they are probably connected.

It wouldn't surprise me at all if this will come in SB1. At least a first pass at it.

I find mining rewarding and satisfying.

Personally I love pvp and pve but also truly enjoy mining/resource collection. It is a great way to take some time to think, relax, enjoy the nuances of my ship and ponder better ways of doing things.

Can't wait to see the mining in game and see how it turns out.
