Powerplay Where have you gone Sandro Sammarco? A lonely PP community turns its eyes to you.

In all this discussion about Beyond, and Chapter 4 and what is there and what isn't, and proposed powerplay changes now being delayed once more for whatever super duper plan Frontier have for past Chapter 4.. My question in all of this is: where has Sandro Sammarco gone to?

He has not posted in these forums since June 25th. He was the one who initiated the proposed changes about Powerplay, and indeed, seemed to be the only dev at Frontier who cared/care about Powerplay and wanted to help improve it. His Focused Feedback on Powerplay generated over 150 pages of responses (which had about 70% of the responses pleading/agreeing/ saying "yes please" -only again to see Frontier ignore that/shelve it for reasons unknown)... but not a peep from him.

Is he still on the ED project.. is there a reason he seems to have been internally silenced from commenting on here? Is it because his Powerplay ideas made him too unpopular with the rest of Frontier?

Inquiring minds would like to know.

Jokes aside: we really need our fixes asap. You really do not want a community of angry end-game players willing to make a statement in game with some symbolic activity. Being basically almost every one of us functional adults, we'be been positive, always proposing more than a way to fix the problem which is dealing a deathblow to Powerplay (5C), and most importantly we've been patient beyond (ah!) any possible reasoning, but this is too much. That's cool that FDev keeps adding things, don't get me wrong, and even if I'm not interested in all the Thargoid storyline I recognize that as a really important feature of the game, but you guys seem to have given up on the main sources of gameplay this game offers: missions and powerplay, and they both need more than a restyle to be completely honest... But for Powerplay I think that every powerplayer would find my last proposal enough to "solve" the 5C problem. (Or at least to make it nothing close to the unstoppable weapon it is right now).

I really think that we should work, as a community, for a proposal to fix PP without changing it that much. At least for now. No Open vs Pvt/Solo. No too much complicated things. Just something to make PP almost 5C-proof.

But, again, NOW.

APB being put out for Sandro and the Space Loach.

Last seen with Ed Lewis during a live-stream.

Subject is not considered armed and dangerous and is simply wanted for questioning regarding powerplay.

Please be on the lookout and if found, direct him back to here and the PP Leaders discord and notify the appropriate galactic authorities.

His forum profile shows that he looks at the forum still.

He was last on around midday (ish) today.

I am wondering if he has been moved to the new game.

The change to PowerPlay has been advertised as a 'possibility Someday™'....just keep waiting...maybe you will be playing when it might be changed.

Most recent live stream made mention of him moving onto other projects I believe. Game over man, game over!

Oh; that's news indeed; haven't watched the latest live stream.

But he seemed pretty downcast after the Gnosis event; I wonder if he decided it wasn't worth the grief and asked to be moved to a new project. Real shame if so; but the community can get pretty heated.

Probably been told never to talk about powerplay nor open mode again, what with both of those things scheduled to be removed from the game in 4.0

Yeah, if you watch from around 24 minutes in or so you'll see Ed answer a question on Sandro happily working on other projects now, with an added remark about him working for so long on one project. So I suspect he has shifted his focus for good.
