Where is all the combat at?

Finally got a chance to log in and start playing after the gamma was released, and after 5 hours of playing, the only combat missions i have come across were offered by criminal elements to destroy innocent targets or security vessels, and even those were rare.

Where can i find all the combat missions?

Well, there were always combat zones around the planets in Eranin... I've been out on the fringe of civilization and haven't had too many dealings with that sort of thing. Galnet is *supposed* to list combat zones in the local system when you visit the station, but I don't know if that is working or not. It was at one point, but where I'm at Galnet doesn't provide much of anything for news... Usually when I was in that sort of system I was seeing combat missions for the combat zones.

Yup the Galnet notification for local combat zones was not there at gamma 1.05. I hope they added it back in 2.0.

I was placed 80ly away from Eranin. I dont really want to go there again, but right now im having trouble building funds because i cannot find anything to do within my playstyle.

I have a mission that i hopefully can complete after work for 100k. As long as he isnt using a viper or better, or turrets. I should be able to kill him if he has no backup.

Still using the starter sidewinder until i figure out wth i want to do.
