Where is best place to fight Thargoids outside of HIP 22460?

I would like to learn and improve my Thargoid fighting but not only is HIP 22460 an All u can eat buffet for Thargoids but the guardian weapons don't work. Is there another system nearby that is a little less exciting but needs pruning? And guardian weapons work. Are they spreading?

Check out the pleiades sector. Places like Merope, delphi etc, or Witchhead nebula.. or Coalsack nebula
