So, I'm here. What is this "diplomatic branch" you speak of and how am I supposed to receive a communique if my ship doesn't have e-mail?

And while I'm waiting for interesting missions I see the only kind of mission appearing is more of the same "Imperial Summons" (which I already completed and thus cannot take again).

Now my reputation with this faction has gone down randomly (I'm just sitting inside the landing bay)! I can't take any missions at all here any more...

EDIT: Now they are available once more. What the heck?

There is none - fell for it too - made all my way to the station orbiting capitol (~5 minutes) to find nothing - it apparently is just a way of saying that you now have a permit - it's not even necessary to travel there.

Considering your later issue: had that too - exiting to the main menu and getting back in fixed it for me (still see occasional offers, but I get other naval rank progression missions). Have you ticketed it?

For what it's worth, got the invite, still gets them, wondering what I'm missing. I was thinking I'd wait until they fix it with keeping playing, but if you can get other missions (haven't seen any in a few hours though) it's worth it to keep playing I guess.

Still, this is something they should address fast. The game really needs more interesting missions. For what it's worth, I think the original elite had only 3 or so unique missions (cloaking device etc), but .. it's not 1984 anymore.
