Where is my slaves?

I've visited about 20 stations that claim they exporting Imperial Slaves. But not even single one actually have those even on low supply :(

It's called a bait and switch.

Imperial Slave's you get from Empire System's and Slaves from Anarchy System's.

I'm not 100% sure but I think I've seen slaves for sale at places with a government. Local government may condone it or even be in the business. I seem to remember seeing Imperial Slaves for sale at independents too.

This happens to a lot of commodities. Station types that both produce and consume the same commodity can end up with a demand and no supply, yet still list as exporting them.

Yup. CF 464 is currently selling both slaves and imperial slaves, despite the fact that slaves are listed as prohibited.

I have had same problem, whenever I went to buy them, all the stations with "exporting slaves" and "exporting imperial slaves" where actually on demand for them, pretty high demand.

It is same like industrial extraction or refinery economies are producing more food than agriculture ones, and they are importing metals and materials.

It's actually very simple, the commodity market gui tells you where they are imported from. If you follow the trail from station to station, you will eventually find the station that is the source, and as a bonus you will have probably found the cheapest imp. slaves in the area also...

Thats actually weird. I was hoping to smuggle imp. slaves in fed. stations with black market. So all those systems was very far away from Empire space. Over 100Ly.

Wow such a simple, powerful idea! Thanks, have rep!

Check out high population agricultural worlds in the Empire too. I seem to remember picking up Imperial Slaves there.

Or you could fly to Rataxo, which I know sells them (or did two weeks ago when I was based there)

Muhdrid (I think the spelling is) has Imperial Slaves.

But yeh, Ive seen odd occurrences where an export is not available. Seems a bit odd to have it listed as an Export and not actually have it for sale. What's the point of listing it as an Export :)

Well, doing legal slavery now :p Sold about 2000 tons of Imperial Slaves, upgraded to Asp...
Will do more tomorrow :p

It goes even more weird:

So Station have Empire patronage.
Yet Independent.
Yet have this on the dock:
View attachment 6957

Yet states that Imperial Slave are prohibited
Yet slaves sold on the market of that station, and local security (which is clearly not Imperials, because i am allied with Empire, and those are not green to me) not respond to you carrying slaves, after they scan you.

Well ok, corporations are corporations, those usually have their own laws. And why not, they can allow slavery. Yet it states that slaves are prohibited. Also, is it actually independent, or do have Empire patronage?
