Newcomer / Intro Where is my thread?

Today I tried to post a thread. I did recieve a message about moderators will have to review my thread before it will show up but its still not here. Its been hours.

I now have more questions but I would like to see the responses to my previous questions.

Is this normal?

I think it is quite normal at the moment. A couple of my first posts took a couple of days to appear. Frustrating I know but I think there are a lot of new members joining so theres a lot for them to vet.

It's unfortunate that newcomers have to go through this, but it helps immensely to keep the forums clean - I haven't seen a bot for ages!

Well this thread appeared without needing moderation so could have been that you just reached the required number of posts or something in the thread that triggered mod approval e.g. I know it used to be against the forum rules to post a thread where the title was all in CAPS or maybe the X was the cause (in your DAY X titled thread).
Although looking at FAQ --> Forum Rules (at the top of every page) nothing about CAPS is mentioned anymore - it used to be though.

Yeah sorry, we do try to get through the new threads and posts as quickly as we can but it has been very busy at the moment with new forum members joining.

You should be all fine now. :)

That's it and welcome to both of you CMDR's.

Unfortunately keeping these forums clean of trolls is not as easy a task for the mods..... and I thank them for all their hard work.

(No trolls in this thread though).
