I put effort into that CG so that we would get the clue. A lot of people did. It's only fair that they release it, whatever it may be.

(Seriously, does anybody think its "fun" to sit in a station waiting for rares to spawn, and having to make multiple trips because it will only give you 12 tonnes?)

True, they could have the character say something about "thanks for the brandy, I see you folks already found the wreck. Well, here's a clue for the location of that shipwreck's abandoned alien base..."

Only that won't work if they don't have it in the game yet -- maybe we'll get a patch on Thursday? Otherwise, it looks more and more like FDev reneged on the deal.

AFAIK, no one has even said that the clue is delayed due to technical reasons. You'd think we would rate at least that much, if that were the case.

<tinfoil>Sidenote: The actual "science" in this matter could be observing commander behavior, as they remove the cheese.</tinfoil>

Blimey guys can I be the first to say calm the hell down.

CG's usually last 1 week, they are usually rounded up in the newsletter as the new CG's come out. You folks finished it in 3 days and expect instant movement, chill out and wait for the natural end to come around, it's probably already pre-programmed to drop the clue then by FD.

There's maybe one person in this thread that sounds mildly peeved...who exactly are you telling to calm the hell down? :p

We got the other clues within 24 hours of the CG's completing, and the other two finished faster. It's reasonable to ask what's going on.

Finances may not have gone to plan but what does that have to do with releasing an in game message they already must have written?

Also, I'm quite sure they were aware how their finances are long before the hunt started because you know... They are the ones to release the reports. It's not like some third party comes up and releases a report then FD finds out about their own monetary issues upon reading the document themselves :D

I've just been back to Scott Orbital, since camping there for a few days. The clue has been released and it was just the 97 coordinate!

Clue reads
"The longitude was 97 on the tenth body in the Pleiades sector in a system with the letters 'B2' in it's name. Oh, and Khol always tells the truth."
