Hardware & Technical Where is the game?

Out of curiosity, where is the game located on the hard drive? Occasionally I will see someone say that the game takes up XY.Z gigabytes on their drive yet all I can easily find is the Frontier folder in Program Files (x86) and being a parent folder of just 109MB this can't be the location. Even the Frontier folder in Users/Saved Games is 0 bytes.

I know the game is somewhere, but where is escaping me at the moment although it is probably staring me in the face.

It's governed by M$. On W7, which is the only one I've been able to examine, it's literally all over the place.

Sadly, M$ have an obsession with moving things around and changing the way things are organised. Not sure why really.

I understand that the game currently takes over 2Gb, but I wouldn't be surprised if it were considerably more.

its in your user folder on the C: drive, replace [user] with your user name and set your folder options to show hidden folders:

C:\Users\[user]\AppData\Local\Frontier Developments
