where is the Power plant located?

is it under the anaconda? or over, i feel like i do the most damage to it from the side.... i'm confused

is it safe to say that the power plant is on the same place for all ships? under and towards the back?

does it even matter where you shot it from, as long as it hits the targeted spot?

I have seen no schematics or drawings of ships that show the internal setup. I would think the different ships would have the power plant it different places. I doubt that it matters where you shoot from. I am sure that when you target a module, as long as you hit the target that there is damage to the hull and a percentage of the damage is against the module you are targeting. I don't think the damage model is as complex as say those in Star Citizen. ED doesn't take things to quite that level.

you can shoot subsystems without targeting them

you just have to hit it's location.

Target the power-plant via sub-systems menu and it will light up like a Christmas Tree for you to aim at. If you have gimbals they will auto-target the plant, ensuring 100% lead-on-target.

I thought the python power plant was on the bottom? It always seems to go down fastest when I have a view of their belly, same as the anaconda, same as the federal dropship, same as the clipper?

see, this is my confusion, it would be much more apparent if you have the subsytem targeted but wont take damage unless facing it... i.e. shooting the anaconda from the bottom.
