I don't think you can say FD are anything like as secretive as Apple. How many regular livestream/q&a do apple do about their products?

They can't announce it here without telling the stock market first (rules), and they have said q2, and E3 is in q2 with a few weeks to spare, so please, everyone just calm down, have a cup of tea, and a biscuit or three, it's Soon (tm)

I'm not worried, but I am disappointed. Somewhere along the way Frontier transformed from a transparent, community-centered Kickstarter project to an Apple-like skunkworks obsessed with secrecy. Ironically, Apple at least shares important dates with us. This is one of the reasons I'm a big fan of open source software IRL.

It's all mute, as they know we'll give them our money regardless. A pity, really, because I'm sure there are developers on the team who would love to share what they are up to (I speak from experience). If I were to blame anyone, it would be Frontier's marketing team. History is full of examples where the marketing team steered companies straight into Sagittarius A*, against the engineers wishes. One such company made the computer I played the original Elite on. Now that's irony.

I think this is turning into an example of 'how not' to market a game as I'm sure sales will suffer as a result
I'd just be sticking with the xbox had I not already got my Hotas although I have now spent the credit I'd set aside on my psn account on the easter sale a couple of weeks ago :/
