Where is this notoriey countdown timer based on game play located ?.

I can't find a display for one's notoriety countdown. It would be nice to know how much time one has to spend in the "penalt box", in order to plan one's life. I'm currently in a orbit around a lone star as "game play" killing time in order to bring my notoriety down to zero, problem is I have no idea how much longer I have to remain here because I don't know the status of my notorieties countdown.

What constitutes game-play for the countdown timer, is being docked at a station considered as game play for the notoriety countdown timer ?.

no timer apparently, you have to time it yourself -.- FDEV PLZ. Also, for you other question, Notoriety will only tick down in OPEN play. shouldn't matter if you are docked or flying (i think), base 2 hours per notoriety unit

I've also lodged a ticket as to why I cannot pay a Galaxy Wide bounty, with notoriety at zero and also after ship destruction.

At the moment, there does not seem to be a feature yet, but I would like to suggest an additional one.
In addition to being able to display the time in the game, it should also be possible to retrieve the remaining time with an external tool.

But still a problem and therefore still relevant.
I don't think it's a problem. Look at the right panel, find your notoriety number, multiply by 2 hrs, and you will be at 0 notoriety by then. So there's no need for a separate countdown timer; therefore there is no problem.

But the reason I write this is, with all the real bugs, that FD asked players to report, and they did, and confirm, which they did, there's no good reason for them to work on something as unnecessary as this. There's an enormous number of bugs on their issue tracker. Then, consider the actual game development, etc., and this is not something that I would want FD to spend their limited time working on.

I will not comment further.

I'd just be happy if I didn't get a superpower bounty every single time I commit a crime in Federation, Empire or Alliance space. I'm sure how it should work is that I have to do more than assault someone or trespass somewhere.
