Where on earth is VY Canis Majoris?

I've seen posts and videos about exploration trips to VY Canis Majoris, so it should be there. But when searching for it in the galaxy map, I'm not getting any results. Anyone know what the heck happened to it?

My Galaxy Map found it immediately.

EDIT: BTW, thanks for reminding me, that's one place I haven't visited yet.
And as it is close by (less than 3k Ly from my current position), I think I'll pay it a visit.

I see... I was typing in Canis Majoris, and it didn't show up. A lot of stars let you type in a partial name.

Done that many times - a drop down search menu like ALL the external Elite helper sites would be nice

.. I think its VY Canis Mayoris.

... No its not. Its VY Canis Majoris. I found it instantly and I even see the system map because I was there.
