Where to armour up my FAS?

Title says it all. Went to the usual Li stations with no luck. Went to Sol (to check it out as much as to shop) - none in stock. Went to another fed system 30 LY from Sol - no stock.

Where can I get military grade composite for my Fed Assault Ship?

Another question I have is this: i'd like to hunt for engineer materials and also work towards the 100k bounty requirement for Todd "The Cool Guy" McTrope. Do I need an FSD interdictor and collector limpets for the things that drop out of slain ships? Or can I just hover somewhere in normal space and have at it? Collecting, is it easy without limpets? Do I need anything more than D rated sensors for the wake tpye materials? Thanks!

Have you tried Snyder Enterprise in TZ Arietis? Close to Sol and usually has everything you need.

The 100k bounty for Todd "The Cool Guy" McTrope (heh!) was fairly easy to get (not like the million in bonds or the 500t of mining for some of the others) - you don't need an FSD interdictor, you can just load up some cargo and wait for the inevitable interdictions, although with an interdictor you can pick your targets, also obviously worth taking a kill warrant scanner. Collecting materials depends on the ship - it's ages since I flew a FAS but I recall it being pretty manoeuvrable - take some collectors and controller and try it both ways, if you can do it without you can save on modules and power... For wake data you need a wake scanner (!) I'd fit the best class you can fit as you can end up chasing down wakes that are several km away and higher class gives you longer range, though it's not a vast improvement.
