Try Wolf 406 there is a discount on the explorer there and maybe the scout as well.

There is a 20℅ discount at Wolf;

Just be careful docking and undocking in open play - there are probably a lot of commanders flying new Diamondbacks around!
One time to be not speeding during docking or exit...

It's a nice little ship, I think I will buy one as a fun and/or stealth ship, too.

LP 128-32 (or any other high tech system near alioth) sells diamondbacks as far as I remember

The scout is available at Wolf 406 (as well as the Exlporer) - but I thought the 20% discount was only on the Explorer at Wolf 406 - the Scout is normal price (a 15% discount is available at another station; but you'll have to find that thread.... I'm going to bed).

In addition to the discount, Wolf 406 also has all the modules available for sale to make it an actual explorer. It's a one stop shop ;-)
