I been googling and searching and all posts come up this this Li yung rui, or Liyoung system, I cannot for the life of me find any system with this name even with station/system searcher on iddb

Li Young-Rui is the CEO of Sirius Corp. and, through it, one of the Powers ruling the systems of the bubble and some adjoining systems. I don't think there's a system named after him... As suggested, look at the power play filter in your map.

In EDDB, under Systems, select the "Powers" filter and input LYR. Any system that comes up (and therefore, any station within it) will be Controlled/Exploited by him, and will offer ships & modules at 15% off.

Making an Inara account is one of the best move a new player can make. I'm using that site more than all others combined. So much so that I've even looked for a "donate" button. There isn't one?

Couldn’t agree more!! Where can I get a Python on sale? Where near me has a Raw Material Trader? Nowhere sells a 7A Power Distributer - help! All questions which can be answered by Inara in 1/200th of the time spent trying to figure out that blasted Galaxy “Map” ...

It can be a bit overwhelming. There's info about practically everything!
If you're into trading or mining, https://eddb.io/ may be a better source. I've done very very little of either myself so I'm not sure what the definitive 3rd party site is best on that front.

I'm not sure I'd want to trust the Sirius Corp. The name just makes me think of the Sirius Cybernetics Corporation.
