Newcomer / Intro Where to buy fighters?

Hey all,
My fighter got destroyed and now I can't figure out where to buy new ones. I have the hanger (Taipan), but I've searched and searched and can't find where to buy the actual fighters. I looked at Inara and googled things but everythign I find is from 2016. I can't figure out where to buy fighters. Please help.

A normal rearm will replace any lost fighters.

It's not happening. I can't figure this out. I've got the fighter bay, but can't get a fighter equipped. I'm stuck.

I traveled from Sothis all the way to Vizcano Enterprise because (from 2016) that's the location where I can buy fighters. I can switch/buy fighter bays all I want. I have a hired pilot. but the slot remains 'empty" and I can't for the life of me get a fighter craft loaded. What am I doing wrong????

I think there is a gfx glitch where the icon is blank, but it's there.. have you tried launching it anyway?

If you bought a new fighter bay you'll have to select which fighter type you want for it in the outfitting screen.
