Horizons Where to Buy Passenger Cabins

OK, I'm tired of looking for answers. I must be missing something. Where do you buy passenger cabins? Am I not finding them because I'm in a Python? Every station EDDB says I should be finding them has none of them in Outfitting. If there was a manual or some information about this, it would be spectacular, but I can't find a thing, anywhere, and that's with way more looking than I ever want to do again. And yes, I've checked maybe 10 stations where EDDB says they are.

Try Sol, Abraham Lincoln - EZ Aquarii, Magnus Gateway - Kruger 60, Keplar Gateway
These have passenger cabins size 5D at least.

High Tech and TOURISM economy systems/stations. Use the GMAP filters to see just those types on the map. This will get you locations near your location rather than having to fly to a specific recommended system.

Thanks, Guys. And I just want to be absolutely certain before wasting any more time, the Python is able to fit all, or just Economy and Business Classes?

Everything except LUXURY as far as I know. Consider using a small 1st class cabin in the mix because the highest paying often require 1st class, but many don't need more space than 3 people total.

http://roguey.co.uk/elite-dangerous/ships/ this is all u need guys. A great site, type in what system u are in for what mod u are looking for and it will tell you within 50ly radius. It has ship builds everything on this site. Hope it helps.

How reliable have you found it to be? More than eddb.io? The reason I ask is because, like eddb.io, it lists the station I'm at now as having a passenger cabin, but there are none, just as there have been none anywhere there was supposed to be.

Wow sorry to hear that mate. I have found it to be 100% accurate when i use it from Beldarkri. I bought and fitted my anaconda for both transport and travel, as well as my combat Flur. I always fly back there as thats where it 1st told me to go buy my bigger ships after a friend gave me that sites ages ago i have always used it. In saying that tho it is updated by players and there is a notification how long ago a person found it there at the far right colum. So yeah depending where you are and how long ago that station was updated is a factor mate as to if mods are still there or not or are sold already.

I think that's how it works that part i am not sure on the supply side.

I should clarify, the ships i bought at Beldarkri and most of the mods. I am sure i got all the cabins there as well if i remember i did have to fly in 1 jump hops for certain mods. Things like my power plant in the flur certain weapons things like that but all within a couple jumps of bel. Also remember depending where you are it only has a 50 ly range, so if i was in say ceos i would get nothing on just about everything looking for mods and bigger ships.

I got mine at Harm, which also sells the Orca and Beluga. Li Yong-Rui's discount is applied as well. It won't get you fully outfitted though, as it lacks the class A FSD and a couple other high end items. However, there is a grove of high tech systems towards the core from Harm, so finding the rest of what I needed was trivial.

Roguey worked for me yesterday, too. Had already flown around for 30 mins, looking for cabins. As it happens the system that I eventually got them at was one I'd previously visited. I just gave up after the first station didn't have them. D'oh!

Completely unreliable and not worth the effort.

The website blithely assured me that I could pick up some 6B luxury passenger cabins at any number of stations, some of which had been updated only a few minutes previously, but, after wasting a few hours driving to each of them in my Anaconda, the best I could get was 6C first-class passenger cabins.

Whether I *need* 6B luxury passenger cabins is open to debate. What isn't open to debate is the quality of the information being provided: the website contains bad information, and it needs to be corrected.

The most popular ED web assistants are still in the process of updating their content to include 2.2 features and additions. Once that has been completed I would strongly recommend the following two sites that I have been using with ED for well over a year now. Both provide accurate info most of the time, but having two to compare is sometimes useful for super hard to find stuff. Both offer far more than just trade related info.

You can use :

EDDB - Elite: Dangerous Database
Then chose Stations to get this form:
https://eddb.io/station , now
complete the field Station sells Modules and select what you need !
Finaly complete the field Reference System system you currently are !
Then Hit Find Stations and your done ; you will find all you need !

Why do the little images of the cabins in Outfitting have furniture like tables/chairs etc when our ships don't have gravity.

I have been to 4 diff stations saying they have the Luxury cabins and guess what, still nothing,,, so if someone knows where to get those it would be nice to post here , at least until EDDB gets updated.. Thanks

I have been looking for a luxury passenger cabing to put on my Python all day yesterday. No luck.

I have this EDDB open right now:

It is saying that a 6B Luxury Passenger Cabin is available on Sol (M.Gorbachev) and that this info was updated 9 minutes ago.

I am docked at that station as I am typing this.

No Luxury Passenger Cabin of any size available.

Can anyone please help? What I really need to know is if it is possible to put a Luxury Passenger Cabin on a Python or if they can only be fitted on specific types of ships?

Do you have a Python with a Luxury Passenger Cabin? If so, how did you get it?

I suppose you know by now, but I'll add to the thread in order to save anyone else a wild goose chase. Only the Orca and Beluga can carry luxury cabins. I just wasted three hours of my life flying around in my Asp not finding them on any of the stations listed by EDDB. After six months away I had forgotten how uninformative this game is.
