Ships Where to buy python mk2? (LYR)

Just bought the odyssey add on. Came back to the game after a few years off and thought I'd gift myself for Xmas.

I'm looking to buy the new python mk2, but can't seem to find any shipyards in li yong rui controlled systems that sell it (for the discount). Can't find a filter on Inara, can anyone help?

Also is the Mandalay available for credits yet?

Try the Inara outfitting search at https://inara.cz/elite/nearest-outfitting/ , select the P2, fill in your current system and select "show just discounted".
Example search around where I am docked right now.

Don't know how and if the LYR discount still applies after the PP changes.

Welcome back, cmdr.
Unfortunately, the Mandalay will be available for credits at least 3 or 4 months after its release, so either on the 28th February or March next year. To be honest, it's a ship worth buying for ARX, I don't regret it at all.

Ahh thank you, I didn't know you could filter by discount, excellent.

My plan is to max out the modules in the mk2 (swapping from my fleet) then finally forced myself to learn FAoff flying.
I realised that it's the awesome flight model that keeps pulling me back to Elite, so it's time to do it properly. I guess the Mandalay can wait till next year, I won't have much playtime over Xmas anyway....

You didn't hear this from me but;
If you pledge to LYR you can dock at his stronghold carriers. These offer all ships and common modules at discount.
Buy and outfit then transfer to another starport before un-pledging.
Job done.
