Where to buy ships?

Okay I'm sure this has been covered elsewhere but couldn't find a thread for it....

So where can I buy the small hauler from? and how much do they cost approx?

Hi.

In most populated stations. I cant say exactly where as ive seen it on many stations
Try Bootis or Aulin.

Dunno about the price.
But a good measure to buy a new ship is to have the double amount of money they cost.
You need some spare money for the goods and don't spend all money on it.
Make sure you have enough for the insurance if something bad should happened.
And don't bother to buy equipment for the ship as its just a hauler and have bad fighting capabilities. If you get interdicted. just try and outrun it.

A trade tip. Ive hauled fish from Chi Hercules to Ovid system and marine supplies back to Chi Hercules. Its quiet zones

This post doesn't have locations, but it does have cost. It shouldn't be too hard to find one though, they're available in one of the starting systems.

According to that post, the hauler should be 23k but as Vikinger mentioned, it's good to have plenty of extra for insurance, your first batch of cargo, and possibly some weapons or extras if you want them.

I think Asellus primus has haulers for sale. In fact i'm SURE they do.

As for cost I think they're around 56k. As you're trading in your stock sidey (worth around 30k), the net cost to you in cold hard cash will fluctuate, but will be somewhere around 26k.
