Where to find a FSD Wake Scanner?

Ive used Roguey "where to buy" and it showed me places that were supposed to have it with an early update (5 min. to an hour).

Went to 5 places now and still, no wake scanner.

any hint? Engineering is long enough, now im stuck searching for that damn scanner :S

its weird, usually Roguey works fine

thx!

If you aren't having luck with some of the website ones, you can always try the high pop high tech systems and find a station there. I'm pretty sure those would have it if any are close to where you are...

I like Inara. Click the link, scroll down towards the bottom. You'll see an area where you type in what you want to buy and then the system you are in. It'll pull the closest systems to you. You can even click the "just discounted" to pull the ports that offer discounts. Works for ships, too. Hasn't let me down yet.

This is why we need to have an in-game encyclopedia like in the X series of games :D

Anyway I've always tried to make equipment purchases in high-tech systems, and so far I've had maybe a 70% success rate of finding the thing I was looking for. I have never used external websites for anything at all.

If I couldn't find what I wanted in a few nearby High-Tech systems, I'd just suck it up and make the trip to Jameson Memorial, however far away it is :D

I was having this same problem, doing the run around looking for this module. After I stopped at the 5th station, I thought "what if it is not under optional internal". And sure enough it is under utility mounts.was under.

Yeah silly me...

It pinged on my feed when I went searching for scanners, hence the response. I went Jameson today and there were only KW scanners at first....I logged back in solo and the wake scanners were there. Derp of the day sure, but only a glitch issue, no need to be pretentious.

lulz at the necro!!

Used to use that Roguey site years ago, but mostly to find cargo worth back loading. EDDB.io will let you specify the system you're in without needing an account like inara.cz plus you can search for specific ships or modules and specify Li Yong-Rui controlled systems in the results so you get the 15% discount.

Having said that, Ohm Station in LHS 20 is pretty good for most things.
