Where To Find A REAL Good Auto Dock Computer System...?

... ... ... Can anyone tell me what Stations And what star system to find a
Very good and Real Powerful Auto Dock Computer System...?
And how to Quickly Abort the Auto dock in Progress, Because the one I got
will from time to time Crash on other ships...?:D
Also, What Shield generators produce more Powerful Shield...? E 3 2 1 or D 3 2 1 or C 3 2 1 or B 3 2 1 ,
Which ones of these...?

I think they are all of like quality.

I tried one. I let it dock me twice, then I sold it and swore I'd never buy one again.

Also, will Crash on Docking Bay from time to time...
So Which ones Work better, Better Maneuvering to Dock, Able to Avoid Collision with other ships...?
Also, Better Landing on Docking pad...?

As far as I now there is only 1 type of docking computer - what you have now is the best on sale. (It might get better in the future as FD update the docking code)

My auto dock has never crashed into anything and have always docked successfully. Maybe it depends on the ship that you have but for me the docking computer works flawlessly on my Cobra.

I think they should retcon the newest docking computer code to A class, increase the price, and re-release the old versions cheaper as B, C, D and E class.

The F class docking computer can be a simple shortcut to the self destruct function in the right-hand menu.

Got to Outfitting in Stations, and so, Which One...?
The E 3, 2, 1 Or
D 3, 2, 1 Or
C 3, 2, 1 Or
B 3, 2, 1 or
A 3, 2, 1 ...?
Can you Explain...?

Like a few others I tried it and swore it off. It takes too long to dock and it's not like you feel like you can walk away from your computer while it's docking. I think smaller ships don't need it, so it makes sense that one would never encounter crashes. I've tried with a Python and it did smack around a few times when it touched down. On outposts, it seems to take forever and you cannot see where it's going. I wish I had a camera on the bottom of the ship.

To answer your questions, we've been told that the Powerplay patch will upgrade the docking computer AI to Really Good, and you can abort the auto-dock simply by applying even a small amount of throttle. You can disable the docking computer using the Modules menu.

All the docking computer hate! I use mine all the time. Gives me an extra minute to plan my next move. :)

I've had 8 pints after working a 19 hour shift and I can beat the docking computer with one hand. As it should be.
