I've having a tough time finding out exactly how to obtain these. Is it just grinding POI's for data points, or is there a faster method?

Alright, I'll try one of those out then. I know they are supposed to be rare, but it's annoying how you need one for each try on only a grade 2 overcharged multi-cannon, but whatever...
Yeah, I know what you mean. 
I'm not really into the SRV stuff as the flying is what draws me in. I got just enough so I could get a G3 upgrade on my C4 Multicannon for the FDL, but it sure took a while. Sucks too that once you get the data points on a base, looks like you can never run it again...
