Where to go?

I've been away from Elite for a while, I didn't have the time to spend on it.

After the April update, me likee.

I'm not that bothered about forming a career, so would like to know where to go to experience the best it has to offer, visually speaking. After playing about a bit I am currently at Bean Terminal, where should I go next? I want to do a planet landing but don't know where to go, and anything else worth recommending.

The galaxy is your oyster. Nearly all inhabited systems have landable planets, just make sure to buy and fit a vehicle hanger and the SRV to go with it.
Several squadrons do mentoring so that's another option. For a visual treat Jacksons Lighthouse is very cool. Just don't got too close to the neutron star.
