Where to next?

I'm currently on my way to Sagittarius A from Colonia in a 21L Clipper (wanted to try out Clipper after mostly flying Python) and wanting some thoughts on where I might explore next (notes: I am a couple of weeks away from upgrading to Horizons, so that kills some content and planetary landing, $$$ isn't a concern for next exploration/move). If possible I'd like to visit or mission to extend lore elements, visit places of interest, or explore uncharted areas. Thoughts? (note I'm not adverse to flying back to get my Python if that means access to travels advised in reply)

Thanks in advance!

Anywhere that nobody else has been. I always explore in oblique angles to the tourist routes, so if you are going to SagA* I would suggest heading to four o'clock.

Check out the Galactic Map over at EDSM. You can apply all sorts of filters that allow you to identify lots of different places to visit. I've just used it to map my journey home all the way from Beagle Point, stopping at all sorts of nebulae, pulsars, and other recommended visiting points.

I second Randolph's reccomendation.
The EDSM map contains all points of interest in the Galactic Mapping project, in addition to deep space outposts and green systems.
If you're syncing your data to EDSM you can see your position and plan waypoints on the way to wherever you're going.

I hear there's some interest and history in the formidine rift area. Abandoned settlements and lost (found) megaship. The Rift is definitely on my list for places to go.

If you wish to visit the weirdest planet in the known universe (and give your ship a temporary free green paintjob), then check out the second planet in the Bleia Dryiae HF-W b35-1 system. It's about 5000 LYs away from Sol and not too far off the Colonia Road, roughly between the Lagoon, Trifid and Omega nebula starports.
