Where to pvp?

So i finally managed to kit my FDL to decent level, but until now i was doing mostly RES farm, and a bit of trading, never actually fought another players (despite the fact that im playing in open only), i would like to try some pvp, are there any decent places to look for other players with bounties (preferably), or any other players just willing to fight with someone? i really want to find some pvp action :)

I've played nothing but open (well within the human-populated area of the galaxy) for months, and haven't seen another player except for the day I flew to Jameson Memorial to buy a new ship. It is a little disappointing really. Even as a relatively defenseless trader/miner I kind of long for a little bit of pvp danger every now and again to mix things up. Everyone really must be concentrated around those systems mentioned above

That's so strange. I play open too and I see players almost everywhere. Sometimes I have to go through a few systems to find an RES that's not too busy. ANd I move around a lot too, often a hundred lightyears or more a day.

OT: If I wanted to PvP I'd grab me an interdictor and just start pulling people who looked good for a fight.

Tried that, but anyone pulled submits right away and just run away without a word, despite me writing to them, few rare occasions where they didnt run, they dint want to fight either... and im not exactly that kind of person who is pulling and shooting without a word :)

ill try lave area, but im curently 170 ly out, and travelling in an fdl isnt nice :p

That's very honorable of you! Fair enough. Maybe you could organize some fights here on the forums? I've often thought of starting a "Friday Night Fights" style thread where I just post a place and a time and anyone who shows up can fight. Ideally very close (or even just outside) a station (must set report crimes against me to off!).

I wonder if it's a time-zone thing. I'd normally be playing around this time myself, which is 9pm Australian Eastern Time. Maybe I need to get up and play at whatever ungodly hour peak playing time is in the UK to actually see other players :S

To avoid crimes being reported, the players simply join a wing and fight to: Shields down, 50% hull or ship destruction. By using sidewinders, everybody can participate and hone their skills without risking too much. Go to the thread above and respond, if you like different time zones implemented.

Come find me in the Altair Cluster and we can have some nice and fair Shields Down PvP! I usually play on evening/night GMT. I'm enjoying a lot of Shields down sparring with a lot of people there.

I just ran into 2 players at Sagittarius A*. If you can find players there you should be able to get them everywhere :)

Most of it comes down to your connection. Are you on ADSL 2 or something a bit more primitive?
