I think my game was updated with the new update yesterday, not sure. I've looked all over (in game) but can't find the version number anywhere. Where can I find it?

click on game hub from the Xbox dash... version number is somewhere in there
The version number is pretty redundant TBH, if you aren't on the latest, you can't play the game...and it will attempt to update when you launch it on Xbox.
And if people then say about what if you only have season 1 (ie not Horizons), the main menu screen clearly identifies whether you have Horizons (no SRV=no horizons).

No, you can't do it from the dashboard. You highlight the game icon in "my games & apps", hold both LB and RB, and press the back button.
And yes, according to my Xbox logs it did update yesterday. Not knowing what the old version number was, knowing what what the present version is does me little good anyway.

This ^^^^ is the best way to find the version, current is EliteDangerous_2.2.113.3_x64....... although as others have pointed out, you can't connect to the Servers unless you are on the latest.
I just saw my version is also EliteDangerous_2.2.113.3_x64, which looks a little different from the update version 2 days ago, 2.2.03, but anyway, thanks for the tips, I've learn something new about Xbox which I didn't know about, I had no clue holding LB + RB and pressing back would show this popup.
