Newcomer / Intro Where/Who do I trade Engineering mats with?

I've been farming HGE's for a few hours and want to do some Engineering. Where are the people I need to trade the mats with to get lower quality mats?

They are called Materials Traders, they come in three varieties (raw, encoded and manufactured) according to the sort of materials they trade, you cannot trade between varieties, you access them through the contacts section of the station menu, there is a maximum of one per station.

The easiest way to find the ones nearest to you is use Inara, it is possible to find them using the galaxy map in game but that isn’t very efficient.
