Where’s all the cargo salvage gone from Threat 0 USS?

I’m trawling about for engineering bits again, and it seems to me that I don’t see any cargo salvage in USS anymore. All I find is mats. I’m sticking to threat 0 sites for simplicity, so have the ‘juicy cargo’ items been moved into higher threat levels since the last patches?

btw, i think cargo spawns more frequently in the threat lvl 3 , it just spawns a harmless viper, very easy kill tho

Had the opposite problem. Kept getting loads of tobacco, narcotics, etc. I think the system government or security may be a factor.

Not sure what cargo you are after, but I was after 5 bits of stolen/illegal for the early engineer. Just pop to somewhere where you have 0 rep, to force the crap paying low threat missions. Choose the illegal black box or other item mission, you only need a couple. The USS sporn rather crap commodities to go with the mission targets.

I got my engineer invite for stolen 1x gran, 1 x polymer and 3 x food cartridge.

Clearly smuggling pot noodle is considered cool in the future, who'd of thought.

My alt account is out mat hunting for engineers, I'm finding these threat 0 uss's have been spawning around 9 or 10 items, 7 or 8 are cargo cannisters & 2 or 3 are mats.

But then the game KNOWS I've no interest in collecting all these cannisters!

Wasn’t after any cargo specifically, but just that I’ve noticed for at least a week I’ve not found any cargo in USS at all. Not even rarely.
