Going all the way to Beagle Point as a jump into the deep in your first exploration do did impress me quite a bit, but now after the dust has settled, the second part of getting to BP, namely getting back, can be much harder. Gone is the hype, the momentum and the support.
So, has he returned to the Bubble yet? If so, sold the data? Got some cash? Did he sell it to the right people as the mysterious message implied? Or is he still en route? If so, how far along is he? How's his determination? Have there been "oh sod it all!" moments? Or did he actually catch the bug and has started scanning systems?
