I've had my Rift about a month. I've mostly been bounty hunting, but I've also run a few missions, done some long distance traveling for the RNGineers, and have recently tried some mining. I haven't done any trading in months, but I can't imagine what a PITA it would be with no way to take notes in-game. I always used a notebook, or scraps of paper, to track systems, stations, commodity prices, and etc. It would usually take me 2-3 solid evenings of searching for a good trade route, furiously scribbling notes and calculating profits.
Now I'm supposed to do that while wearing a Rift? I don't think so! - constantly taking it off, or lifting it up so I can see my notepad. I don't have a problem touch typing, so if there was a way to take notes in-game, or better yet, also copy data from the commodities market, that would be really be helpful. It would also be good for keeping some blueprint notes, as well as some other stuff, I'm sure. I think if I want to try serious trading again, I'll have to put up the Rift until I discover a good route.
I guess I'd probably need an in-game calculator, too.
