Powerplay Where's my notoriety???

I decided to do a little undermining. . . . .
I went to one of those filthy Federal systems , low security . . . . Corporate, not anarchy.
I attacked ships with mostly impunity, some belonging to the systems pledged power, others belonging to the other powers not associated with the Glorious Empire.

I was shocked to find that I could immediately wipe my bounties (55+K) at a slightly distant interstellar factors, because I had gained no notoriety despite my murderous spree.

What's going on? Is this a lucky bug? I did something similar and 2 months ago and had to wait 12 hours before my notoriety hit 0 and I could wipe the bounties.

Have I missed something in the recent update?

Killing enemy PP ships will gain you PP bounties, but not notoriety.

Still illegal, so you'll still get bounties for it (which may be inconvenient if you're in an area where a single faction controls everything) ... but yes, perfectly fine.

Fill their PP ships with bullets, yes. Otherwise, the usual rules apply.
