Which activity involving combat is the most lucrative now?

Is it Combat Zones? Is it Conflict Zones? Is it bounty hunting at RES's? I've gotten a little burnt out of trading and I'd like to gear up my Python for combat to liven things up. But I'd still like to make a little bit of money of course hehe. Which form of combat have you guys found most lucrative and the most fun?

I prefer combat zones in a big ship. If you go to a RES I'd downgrade to a Cobra... much more maneuverable in and among the asteroids.

Conflict zones.

Payouts have doubled. Can make anything up to 2.5 million an hour, depending on ship/how fast you can tank the opposing faction.

CZ and stack missions on top of them for steady income. Pirate missions can also give money, just have to get a lot of them in same stack before going into the system and finding the pirates you need.

Is there a list of active CZs anywhere?

Or do you just have to travel the galaxy map to find systems at war?

There's this but I don't know how reliable it is. Personally I think stacking assassination and kill missions yields the most money, depending on the population of the system you're in.

Anyone know if you go to a (Powerplay) Military Strike Zone, and you're not aligned with a power, if it then just works like a Combat Zone? Can you just sign up with who ever you like and earn CR instead of PP points?

Conflict Zones by far and away. Just search through the systems, look at the system maps and look at the info for; State

If its civil war then theres bound to be CZs. Bit of a slog but my hunting grounds for the past 2 days disappeared into the night so I had to look. Just ended up in Ross 780 where there 3 CZs at least.
