Which apes can safely co-habitate?

Hey all - I’m trying out the new Campaign scenario, and I was wondering - which of the apes in PZ will cohabitate without fighting? I’ve never tested this, but I’d like to build a habitat with the Red River Hog, and possibly the Mandrill and Gorilla, because they all overlap geographic irl. I know Gorillas and Mandrills won’t benefit from cohabitating via enrichment bonus, but will they fight the way predator and prey species would?

Has anyone tried mingling other ape species in-game?

I think all animals that are not straight-up predators can cohabit in game.

As long as needs for both are met, there should be no issues but be vary of coexisting animals in the wild as certain animals will imitate each other. I was asked a couple weeks back to check if moose and arctic fox would behave well since they live in each others ranges in real life.... The result was the moose trying to attack the arctic fox. In regards to gorilla and red river hog, yes they can live together fine. I wouldn't keep them with mandrills personally as the males can be a bit temperamental at times.

Hmm, that’s good to know about the moose!
Im specifically trying to get all four African apes - the mandrills, the bonobos, the chimps, and gorillas - into the three habitats around the lemur area. So what I’m really looking for is if two of those AND the red river hogs will cohabitate.

I have kept mandrills, gorillas, lemurs, chimps, bonobos, orangs and siamangs together in an exhibit for hundreds of game years and have never had any issues whatsoever with fighting. Haven't done red river hogs, but have kept them all with bongos, okapi, nyalas and binturongs with no issues.

There's a big spreadsheet with all animals that can co habitate. I don't have the link rn but for some reason everyone on reddit does so ask on the pz reddit and someone will give to you. Or someone here might know the one I'm talking about either way it's very helpful.

I have been able to successfully mix apes in the past
Mandrills seem fine with being with the apes
I will often put albinos of one species in with a habitat of a different ape
In my primate zoo, I am working on making a habitat that is an albino only of all the apes. I currently have yet to see how the orangutans would work with other apes, so far the get along fine with the lesser apes and p monkeys.
Then again I have read from other people that mandrills aren’t real nice in real life and perhaps apes may not be nice to other animals.
