You only need a single ELW, WW or AW to negate 10 low value systems, and it can take you hours to scan a low value system with a large number of bodies, so you set your star filter for stars with a high chance of containing those bodies and ignore anything under 1 million and you FSS then jump as soon as you are finished, unless of course you see something else interesting like a high value bio or other stuff. The time spent scanning a low value system could be better spent finding 1 or 2 high value bodies.
That's if you are looking at getting exploration rank, for those of is already there and with plenty of money it doesn't really matter.
