Ships Which combat ship is after Cobra?

Evening all, as the title says which combat ship is after the Cobra?

Or are we not there yet as we need a few more ships to be released to fill the gaps between the low end price tags and the high end?

The Diamondback seems to be the ship you are looking for, or perhaps the Imperial courier.
Have not used any of them myself. Many people seem to love the Diamondback.
And next is of course the legendary Vulture. She's quite a beast.
Although I am currently back in my Python the Vulture is a keeper.

honestly you should step to a diamondback next, then the vulture, that is, unless you happen to have 8 mill lying around to get the vulture even flying.

I do love it when people don't actually answer a question.

So I'll try again, how much is a Vulture and how much is a Diamondback?

Guy, you need to watch the tude if you come here asking for help. And learn to use google. No one owes you anything here.

You can put a reasonable vulture together for 10.5m and you can put a kick-asp (and fer de lance PvP (on a good day) and anything PvE) one together for 30m.

OP, er here 10.5m cr to get you going and 30m cr for top notch in a Vulture. Sorry was I not clear?

A Vulture has a stock hull mass of 230T and a Diamondback Scout (as apposed to a Diamondback Explorer) has a stock hull mass of 170T.

In all seriousness though, just use the following link to find out these kinds of basic things. http://elite-dangerous.wikia.com/wiki/Ships

Thank you WR3ND for being the first person to actually answer my question. From that link I can see that a Diamondback is in fact the next combat ship for me to buy and costs just under 565,000 CR. IF I were to go with the Empire my next ship would be the Courier and then Vulture if I decided I was happy with just two large hardpoints.

Weapon loadout on the DB and the Cobra is excactly same. DB has more utility points and is slightly more maneuverable. You might feel it is a poor upgrade. Just a heads up. The only advantage with the DB is the positioning of the hardpoints, which gives you more accuracy with fixed weapons.

Now, the imperial Courier, on the other hand, is a step up. It has 3 medium hardpoints, 3 times as strong shields, room enough for extra fuel tank and shield cell banks, with more to spare. Actually, the couriers shields, with a 3A shield generator, are more powerful than the Clipper's shields when equipped with the 7A generator.. imagine that.
A fully upgraded courier with 2 gimballed beams and 1 gimballed cannon - and it has the juice to use this setup - will cost you just shy of 8M cr.

I went from Cobra to Vulture, and never regretted it for a second.
It's only good for combat. Don't let the 2 large hardpoints put you off, it has the agility to make up for it.

10-11 Million for a reasonable one (just make sure you give it enough power)

OP, please get either the diamondback or the courier. They both pop easily and you deserve that for the attitude. A good vulture wouldn't break too much of a sweat on either (or both)
