Which Death is which of the 5 Deaths?

So the 5 Deaths are named for a local legend of a warrior who faced a choice how he would be executed: burning, drowning, crushing, hanging, and beheading. Like a boss he chose all 5; and faced each sentence, one on on each of these islands. I think Crichton was sparse on the details in The Lost World book, but does anyone happen to know if this bit of the lore ever got fleshed out or if I missed something somewhere? I don’t think the names suggest anything aside from maybe Matenceros being beheading, but probably not since that only works in English where “Slaughter” has a loose and very antiquated association with beheading (more accurately, the cutting of the throat).

TLDR- Which island in La Cinco Muertes is associated with which of the 5 forms of execution from the legend?

I don't remember seeing anything mentioned about it in the Lost World novel and I have read that book many times. I don't remember it being mentioned in the movie either. The only place I have read about it is online, like on Wikipedia and stuff like that.

But Nublar was based on an actual Island off Costa Rica.

Darn, maybe I’ve just been inundated in JP lore in the past couple months but I just listened to the audiobook a few weeks ago and I could’ve swore it got a sentence or two while Dr. Levine was trying to get a guide and a ride to the island.

Failing that, anyone care to speculate?

My guesses:
Matenceros- beheading (not the best justification, but that above mentioned assossiation in English with throat cutting)
Muerta- burning (Might it have been called “Dead Island” because of a forest fire/ frequent Forrest fires?)
Tacaño- crushing (the locals believed the islands are cursed, and if there’s anything to it maybe that’s why the last park on this island was in crushing debt ;-3 )
Pena- drowning (the smallest island, an almost bare rock barely keeping above the waves)
Sorna- hanging (because gallows humor often involves a healthy dose of sarcasm)

There was some stuff mentioned about it. But nothing in depth.

"Some old Indian story," Malcolm said. "Something about a brave warrior captured by a king who
offered him his choice of deaths. Burning, drowning, crushing, hanging, decapitation. The warrior said he
would take them all, and he went from island to island, experiencing the various challenges. Sort of a New
World version of the labors of Hercules - "

I like most of these, but it could also be drowning in debt.
and perhaps Pena is actually rocky so things get crushed. It is also be constantly crushed by storms. Although the storms also cause big waves and flooding thus drowning so either seems to work here.

Or even Due to the heavy storms the rocks surrounding Pena have been shaped in a way that when the waves hit things against them they are crushed, into bits.

Yea, those two could go either way. Pena definitely crushes you between a rock and a Tooth Hardness place. Plus the large lake on Tacaño could’ve been the ceremonial drowning place:The “Drowning Pool” you might say :3. Que montage of large crowds of fleeing guests trampled by rampaging dinos to the tune of Bodies.

I didn't even think about the lake, it makes even more since to be the drowning now. I love that lake, but noticed it didn't seem to have an outlet, it has several inlets but I haven't seen any outlets.

I think it would be fun if they referenced the islands again in Jurassic World 3 and perhaps mention in passing of some scene which island was which. But we will probably never see them again.
