Recharge rate is the speed at which the cap recharges...shockingly. So choose one that increases that.

Charge Enhanced, narrowly—it recharges all capacitors faster than with any of the focused modifications! The only purpose of Engine Focused is to increase the capacity, which allows the use of a smaller Power Distributor which would be otherwise too small to provide enough for one boost at all, which can improve range but is poor for recharging the boost.

If you want comfortable boosting while retaining good range for your Diamondback Explorer, I suggest using a 4D Power Distributor with Charge Enhanced. As an aside, 3D Sensors will be a little lighter than 3E.
