I think it is. I usually only bother to have rapid charge shield cells with reinforced prismatic shields as it takes foreeeeever to recharge tanky shields
I've got G3 Specialized w/ reduced power draw secondary on my XBOX FDL. With a 28 MW G5 Armoured plant with added heat efficiency I can dry bank them one at time at the end of a boost. The extra shield reinforcement is nice as well. That particular mod needs CIF. Now that CIF is easy with material traders, really no reason to rock them in my mind.
Got some designs on using them to top off the Prizzy Shield and setting up a Thermal Conduit PA shot. They get you right under 100% heat nicely.
