Which faction do you support and why?

I'm allied to all three but my leanings are towards Empire, mainly because the ranks are so much cooler. I mean, who wants to be an Ensign when you can be a Baron?

Empire.

We bask in the Emperor's greatness, our ships are the coolest and our values are the rightest (Except for that treehugger Aisling).

Im allied to all three, but will fight for the one who pays me most. And Ill trade whatever or with whoever gives me the biggest profit.

Having "political views" is good way of limiting your income potential! :)

Not Federation - Got fined one too many times for innocent smuggling... -.-
Not Empire - They have the worst fans in the world
Not Alliance - Laws too fragmented, got fined again

May change if any of the powerplay politicians take my fancy. If not I will point my nose away from the human bubble and hyperspace as far as possible into the void, player interaction is overrated :)

I'm born in Federation space. So i support Federation, and Anarchy.
Anarchy because, you don't have limitations by Authority, there is huge possibilities.
Federation because i hunt pirate's with Authority vessel in raid :)

Adapts to the situation itself.

None so far.
In actual game play terms, factions have no relevance to me. (unlocking a couple of ships being the one exception).
Dots on the map, that's it.
Hopefully, 1.3 can change that...what's been hinted at so far looks promising at least.

my thoughts exactly

Choices are for the weak. Determination appears in a form more sleek! I'm staying close to Achenar, where barbarism, bad fashion and strange mannerisms, don't get you far!

I'm going to support a power that backs how I have played. I have mainly made my riches bounty hunting but mostly selling slaves. If I'm trying hard to roll play then I should create a character out of the actions my pilot (me) have taken along the way. Unfortunately I care more about credits than people (in game :S) and will kill anyone that the local government says is fair game SO FAR. Even if I know they accidently shot a fed, I will take them oUT if they are wanted. Even for 400 credits. And I'm happy about that. I like trading but I find it gets boring unless there is the slave trade involved. Nothing to make it more interesting that some morally on the line dealings. I will give my friends tons of credits to get them semi rich fast. But as I come to meet up with them most times... I will actively try to ram them at speed to blow them up. It's up to them to move. For some strange reason vaka feels like home. I always trade within 60ly's of there. So long story short. I will join a faction with senator patreus or possibly another if they can compete with his awesome stances
